New York, NY (June 25, 2026) – Transforming the Beautiful Game: The Clyde Best Story has been selected to screen at the famed Lincoln Center in New York as part of its acclaimed Summer for the City festival, with this year’s programming centered around movement, including a special series “World at Play” — a celebration of soccer’s global cultural impact and the intersections of arts and sport. The series is timed to coincide with the New York/New Jersey region preparing to host the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on July 19th. “World at Play” features film screenings, DJ nights, free-style soccer performers, film screenings, and locally based food trucks.
